In this three-hour presentation addressing digital and social media ethics you'll get an overview of the issues related to the web visibility of psychotherapists on Social Media. You'll be presented with a broad introduction to different social media sites with specific tips to protect one's privacy and go further in addressing the balance between personal and professional use. The APA Psychology Ethics Codes will be reviewed, particularly as they pertain to our behavior on the Internet. All participants will receive a copy of Dr. Kolmes's Social Media Policy along with tips for constructing your own for your own practice.
