Biography
Dr. Natalye L. Pearson, Psy.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in California with over 20 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy across medical, community, and private practice settings. She spent more than eight years with Kaiser Permanente’s Addiction Medicine and Recovery Services in Oakland and San Francisco, where she worked with adults experiencing substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and complex psychosocial stressors within an integrated healthcare system.
Dr. Pearson currently maintains a private practice where she specializes in supporting adults impacted by racial trauma, racial identity development, and the psychological effects of systemic oppression and chronic stress. Her work also includes treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, grief, and life transitions. Her clinical approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative, Relational, and psychodynamic frameworks.
