Clinical Psychologist
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of California (CA Lic. #29126) with extensive experience providing psychotherapy, consultation, and programmatic support across medical, community, and private practice settings. I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology, with training grounded in evidence-based, relational, and culturally responsive care.

My clinical career includes over eight years with Kaiser Permanente’s Addiction Medicine and Recovery Services (AMRS) departments in Oakland and San Francisco, where I provided individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, interdisciplinary consultation, and care coordination for adults with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and complex psychosocial stressors. In this role, I worked closely with physicians, psychiatrists, and care teams within an integrated medical system, supporting treatment planning, medical necessity documentation, and continuity of care.

I currently operate a private practice where I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, identity-related stress, life transitions, and the psychological impact of systemic oppression and racial trauma. My approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Relational and Psychodynamic frameworks, and trauma-informed care. I emphasize cultural humility, ethical practice, and attention to the broader social and systemic contexts shaping clients’ lived experiences.

In addition to clinical work, I am engaged in professional development, consultation, and psychoeducation, including workshop facilitation and training on topics related to trauma, recovery, and culturally responsive mental health care. I value collegial connection, ongoing learning, and participation in professional organizations that promote ethical standards, advocacy, and community within the field of psychology.
