Nancy Skinner, former member of the California State Assembly from California's 15th State Assembly district was recognized for her social justice advocacy and leadership for healthy communities. 

Assembly member Tony Thurmond was honored for his efforts to expand access to services and support for those with mental illness. 

Outgoing Board President Anastasia Kim was also honored for her service in 2015. 

Karen Franklin was recognized for her service and support as the Chair of the Ethics and Professional Affairs Committee.
