Biography

Wendy Stock, Ph.D., completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at University of California, Berkeley, and earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from State University of New York at Stony Brook. In 2001, she earned a postdoctoral Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychopharmacology.  Dr. Stock taught in psychology programs for over 20 years, and has over 20 professional publications. Her primary clinical orientation is cognitive-behavioral, and she identifies as a feminist therapist. She has been a licensed clinical psychologist in practice for over 30 years. Dr. Stock specializes in sex therapy, relationship issues, sexual trauma, depression, and anxiety. She is currently based in Berkeley, CA. In 2015, Dr. Stock began her teletherapy practice with Doctor On Demand. She is licensed and provides teletherapy to clients in eight western states. She also volunteers with several human rights organizations to provide pro bono psychological evaluations for survivors of torture seeking asylum, and for the Women's Cancer Resource Center in Oakland CA, in their free therapy program for women cancer survivors.
