Biography
Welcome! I’m a bicultural, bilingual psychologist with 14 years of clinical experience working with children, tweens, teens, adolescents and parents of diverse backgrounds. My clinical background is in trauma, attachment, adoption, parent/child dyad therapy, anxiety and mood diagnosis, school or social difficulties. I also have expertise in working with perinatal depression, life transitions, infidelity, and attachment work. I’ve worked in community, home, school, and clinical settings. I work with co-parents and children as they navigate their new experiences and feelings after a separation.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, warm, genuine, and transparent. Building rapport and trust is essential to begin healing from the various experiences that brought you to therapy. I use play and talk therapy to help patients learn about their feelings and support them to communicate their feelings. I provide consultations and collaborate with parents.
I welcome patients to bring in their uniqueness and values to our session. My goal is to help my patients feel comfortable so that they can use the therapeutic space to learn about themselves and propel forward feeling stronger. Thank you for considering me and for letting me partner with you in your healing.
