I have a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Psychology from Roosevelt University, a Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, and I'm currently pursuing Doctorate of Social Work from Tulane University. I hold a Certificate in Psychedelic Facilitation granted through the Berkeley Center for the Science of Psychedelics (BCSP). I'm Licensed in the state of California and run a private practice. I have worked in Refugee Resettlement, an Intensive Outpatient center treating clients with co-occurring disorders and have been working in a university counseling center setting at a top institution for 4 years. In additional to clinical work, I am also an educator, lecturing at University of San Francisco as well as SF State University in the Department of Counseling at both institutions, teaching on the topics of Substance Use and Addiction Counseling, Community Mental Health, Gender and Sexuality, Lifespan Development and Critical Thinking.
I identify as a queer Black man with interest and education around expansive sexualities and relationship dynamics, including kink/BDSM, and ethical non-monogamy. I have a passion for supporting communities of color, particularly folks from marginalized backgrounds and those who have experienced economic and medical disadvantage.
