I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Mills College in Oakland. My doctoral education was completed at California Professional School of Psychology where my dissertation was an intersection of my interests in health psychology and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Following graduate school I completed a post-doctoral training with The Masterson Institute and then psychoanalytic training at San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. I am in private practice, working with adults.

I have lived in the East Bay for over 60 years. I am married over 40 years and have two grown children living on the East Coast.
