Education and Experience
I am a clinical psychology doctoral student at the Wright Institute. I attended the University of Pennsylvania for my Master's degree and the University of Delaware, where I attained two bachelor's degrees. In addition, I was an adjunct faculty member at the University of Delaware in 2023 for the Counseling theories class.
I have experience as a pre-licensed counselor (i.e., couples, families, individuals), student therapist at an inpatient facility, student therapist at Greenwood Academy working with severe trauma, psychology rehab counselor in 2021 at Upper Bay Counseling, and two research assistants. Currently, I still work as a research assistant at the University of Pittsburgh's Medical Center, where we predict mood recurrence in those with bipolar disorder.
More Personal Info
I am a black bisexual woman raised in a multicultural family. In addition, I identify as a trauma survivor, starting with my mom having me at 17 years old and her mother passing away before I was born. Working with marginalized communities that have endured adverse experiences and revictimization is a significant goal that I am determined to attain.
