An Introduction to the use of Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy in Queer and BIPOC Communities

An Introduction to the use of Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy in Queer and BIPOC Communities
Presented by Courtney Watson, LMFT
Sunday, January 9th @ 10:00 - 11:30 AM
(Non CE event)

In this course we will be introduced to the only legal psychedelic assisted therapy treatment in the United States- Ketamine. After reviewing history and information about the molecule, we will move into the misses of the psychological/psychiatic community with Queer and BIPOC individuals and see how those harms may still play out today with this new treatment. Specific issues and recommendations for therapists seeking to offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy to Queer and BIPOC communities will be offered. We will conclude with an open Q & A segment for any outstanding questions to be answered.
