I am a licensed psychologist and a nationally certified counselor. I have a strong background in both clinical and counseling psychology and extensive experience treating a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relational problems, and life transitions. I also specialize in treating addictions and co-occurring disorders.
I have a private practice in Berkeley, where I provide psychotherapy, counseling, assessment/evaluation, and psychological and professional consultation. I place a strong emphasis on treating all clients with acceptance and respect, and I welcome clients of diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, gender, sexual orientation, spiritual/religious beliefs, and personal histories.
I also serve as chair for the Master’s Degree program in Counseling Psychology at John F. Kennedy University. I have taught multiple courses at JFK and Golden Gate University, including Psychopharmacology, Multi-Cultural Counseling, Research Methods, Crisis and Trauma, and Community Mental Health.
